From osx to ubuntu

I am using MacBook with Snow Leopard in my home. In my work I got a change to update windows to linux
Is it possible to tweak (mostly from settings) ubuntu that it will look and behave like osx. It seems that "traffic lights" are also on left hand. Also clock is upper right. and I can use spaces.
How about expose, dashboard, active screen corners, ...? Is it possible to change close button in firefox tabs?
Which applications are similar than in osx?

Every new good feature is fine, but e.g. close button in windows is in right hand and in left hand in osx. I don't like that.

hm, as it is ubuntu is already pretty similar to mac.

however, am not sure why you want "everything" to be like mac.

I tried to install global menu to my mb VM (and later I could install it in work if it is good) as descripted here:

i think it would be easier if you downloaded an already made distro:

check out pinguy os, is made from ubuntu but with all the tweaks
