Mac Mini 3,1 Ubuntu 10.10 Suspend not working

    Hi,

I'm really keen to replace using OS X with Ubuntu but have hit a major stumbling point in that the Suspend function doesn't work.

When I suspend there is no way to wake the machine. Simply pressing the on button doesn't work and I need to hold it down and eventually boot it again.

The Community Documentation ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Mac_mini3-1/Maverick ) claims it is supposed to work out of the box.

If I can't get this to work then I'm going to have to give up and go back to OS X.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Update: It The last few test suspends have worked. I have changed my set up a bit and am going to see if I can work out what causes the problem.

I'm still having major problem with this. It worked fine for a little bit but now is back to not being able to wake from suspend.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm using the nvidia drivers, would it make sense to uninstall these to see if it makes a difference?

    Thanks.
