gnome in 10.04, keyboard not working correctly

Hi,

can someone help me with fixing problem with keyboard?

I've here keyboard layout, which have some symbols registered for combination ISO3-someKey.

xev produces correct output.
Every other app in gnome does not and <NOTHING> gets printed.

What can I do with that?

I don't know what the problem may be , but 9.10 reaches end of life in 8 days . You may want to consider an upgrade to a newer version or a clean installation instead of putting a lot of work into 9.10.
