O.K....the game is on!! Ubuntu Scrabble.
Change one letter of the bottom word posted and let's see who gets stuck and can't continue!

Rules: You cannot add letters. You can only use English. You can only change one letter.

(Example using the word "store" you change the "T" to a "C" to make the word "Score". Then the next poster has to change a letter to make a new word)

Lets start it off with this.

I, for one, think that is it - I can't think of real English word that can be made from maim that hasn't already been posted and according to the rules I reckon we are stuck.

The rules don't stipulate what to do when we get stuck, just that it is expected - I vote we add a letter and move on with 5 letter words.

I apologise for 'posting out of turn' if someone can find a real word that can be derived by changing 1 letter of 'maim' that hasn't been posted already - if you are thinking of posting and you agree that we are stuck please consider posting a five letter word we can play on with.

Also: It might help if people quote the rules post in their post from time to keep a copy near the end of the thread hopefully to help new players play along to the rules...
