I ju,st did an "in windows" install of 8.04. I have a buffalo wireless card in my laptop, it works fine with xp but ubuntu seems not to see it installed at all. Is this card going to work, if so what do I need to do to activate it, so far nothing seems to work.

theres a gr8 tut on here for ndiswrapper, got my wireless dongle going first time..............http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=771894. hopefully itll do the job for you. i just took the inf and sys files of the driver disk of my dongle. good luck.
