"you do not appear to be using the nvidia x driver"
I'm on Lubuntu 12.04. Here's my situation.
I had a working Lubuntu install. Overhauled my system (new mobo/cpu/memory/graphics/power supply). The old graphics card was nvidia and the new one is nvidia as well. I booted up Lubuntu, it works fine except it won't use the nvidia driver. I assume it's still configured to the old card but I don't know how to fix this or even what to google to find a guide. I'm hoping a linux guru can point me in the right direction.
Things I have tried: complete removal and reinstall of nvidia driver, nvidia-xconfig, rewrite xorg.conf manually to point to videocard1 instead of videocard0 (I figured since the new ethernet adapter was named eth1 instead of eth0 the same might apply to the video card but no dice). Help?
