I'm probably going to sticks with 12.10+PPAs until the first major breakage passes. Gonna be a bit more conservative this cycle.

Haven't seen much with the installs vs. the apt-source raring change. I do run 2 partitions and alternate updates/installs since things do break.

So far, apt-cache search linux-image hasn't turned up anything past 3.5.0-17 here in the States. Patience, Hortense.

I totally borked my 13.04 desktops (linux 3.6.6 & 3.7-rc4 -- Unity & GS), this morning, by installing "caffeine-indicator" in Raring. I even killed LightDM. LoL!

Thank heavens for "ppa-purge"!

I'll see if I can break it again with 3.7.0-0...

I am using proposed on all my raring installs. Then I have some installs on an HP and others where I am just using /proposed/ only , unchecking all Quantal security updates - just to see what happens. So far .. so good. No smoke yet ... lol

I've always run -proposed repos, in the past, but...

There are a lot of packages being held-back in 'raring-proposed' right now -- enough that I don't feel comfortable doing a partial upgrade.

I'll be patient for a day, or so, but I'm thinking about disabling 'raring-proposed', especially if a lot of packages are gonna be put on hold...

I installed 3.7 in my Precise-Nadia Mint 14 installation.
It works very well. No crashes. All apps work.
