It applies to Windows, actually, and shows how to download films from IMDb with assistance from .flv. And now I'm wondering if this also can be done in Ubuntu - with some help from VLC and.flv, perhaps.

Is there anyone out there with experience in this area?? If yes, I'd very much like to hear how this can be achieved in Ubuntu. I'm running Dream Studio 12.04 on an old Dell Optiplex desktop.
