Re: Linux Command Line Learning Resources

I've moved the old thread to the wiki so that it's more readily available and editable by any who care to contribute, rather than just myself and the forum mods.
You can still contribute your favorite CLI learning resources to this thread, if you are unable or unwilling to edit the wiki page. I'll still keep up with this thread and add your contributions to the wiki.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I found metalx1000 on YouTube to be very helpful with getting some BASH basics.

    Here is his YouTube profile:

He has two BASH playlist's and much more.

That is a good one; it was one of the first to go on the list.

hello all, i know this section is a little old, however i just wanted to implement my input on another site that has been quite resourceful to me, and it is ss64.com commandline reference.. it includes basic commandline commands from unix to macintosh, i have used this sit in particular along with FOSSWIRE to compile a binder that has commandline references for whenever im in a cross-platform enviroment.. peace.

First off, welcome to the Ubuntu forums! I remember when I abandoned Windows and at first I was very apprehensive....that is until I found this forum. Sit back, relax, and know that you have a ton of smart people reading and answering questions all day! You're in good hands and the the Linux commands will come with practice.

Again, I remember what it was like when I first started and just remember even the experts started out as newbies.
