Asus U3S6 PCI-e expansion card on Ubuntu 12.04 AMD64?
Hey guys, any idea if this card is now supported in latest Ubuntu? I know it wasn't in previous versions and I really need to find out because I'm planning some minor system upgrades. Namely, I'd like to connect a SATA 3 SSD drive to it because my current mobo only has the SATA 2 ports. Also having the USB 3 connectivity would come handy!

Just installed a Asus U3S6 PCIe x4 card in my Ubuntu 12.04 system. And although I didn't test it extensively both SATA and USB3 ports seem to be working. When connecting a SATA HDD I can read and write to it. Same with an external USB3 HDD.

Hi there, that's really good to know! I have purchased a different card already but this one might come handy again!
