I no longer support the direction or goals of the Ubuntu operating system or Canonical as a whole. Ultimately I feel that both the community and the company have steered the distro down a dead-end path and I frankly don't feel it's worth the effort to continue supporting it.

Additionally the forums have become a breeding ground for incorrect, damaging information, and overall poor understanding of implementations of the various functions and features of Linux/Ubuntu as a whole.

After a discussion on IRC, we decided to keep the account active, but danger wishes to step down as an ubuntu member.
