Just an update, I'm getting the pre-release right now, and I'm getting a mere 69KB/s. Sounds like tomorrow the servers are going to get pounded.
I have a small taste of it now, since I'm running Wheezy atm.

It is possible to upgrade from the pre-releases to the final ones. You just need to keep updating from the package manager. Those servers are usually faster because less people know they can use that instead.

Even the zsync servers are sloooooooow.

This may be because they're uploading a lot of images to the servers.

The main Ubuntu homepage; I'm downloading the 64-bit amd version. I regret not trying bittorrent, but I would be afraid that I'd get an old version from one person, and a newer version of it from another.

Yes, I know. Just I don't think you can upgrade from Wheezy to 12.04 with ease, nor would it be an upgrade.

Torrent speeds are excellent, I was getting about 3.5MBps
My download is done and Im seeding back for a while
