    Question Kubuntu: Two different update notifiers in the status bar.

    Pretty much as per the subject line. I'm getting two different update notification programs running at the same time, resulting in two update icons appearing in the status bar. Anyone else encountered this?

    Yeah, I get this too. Apper and System notification. I removed Apper...

    You have got two different notifier applications. E.g Muon notifier and kpackagekit/apper installed. Unistall the one that you don't want.
