Completed a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.10, and now the wireless is extremely slow. I cannot get speeds over 10kbps, if that at all. However, my other laptop can download the same file from the same location at nearly 2Mbps. Any suggestions?

Same problem here with a vaio fz-21s
Very annoying (beside having to use unity)
Same problem here on Lenovo Y430.. connecting the ethernet cable, speed is fine but wireless is SO slow!!!
All was fine when i was using 11.04 this morning but not now with 11.10![]()
WORKAROUND:
I disabled IPv6 as per http://www.unixmen.com/linux-tutoria...-natty-narwhal
Works fine now
I hope the issue will be fixed before we have to use IPv6!![]()
Same problem on vaio fz-21s. Disabling IPv6 does not work. And I need IPv6 anyway.
Ubuntu is using the iwl4965 driver and I can barely open a page. 56k flashback
Wifi works fine on windows.
I wonder if the problem is that i use wifi n and not b. What do you guys use?
That didn't work for me.
