i am using Samsung VM8000 laptop. i got sis900 inbuilt ethernet. with ubuntu 8.04 it was detected but with 9.10 it didn't. i can work with my DSL ans surf on net and every thing normal but i can't connect with my desktop windows xp. i am hopping some guideline on this that how to detect SiS900 and connect with my desktop win xp. my laptop is dual boot windows xp sp3 and Ubuntu 9.10. with crossover cable i can connect with my laptop (windows xp) to desktop (windows xp) and can transfer my data but with laptop (Ubuntu 9.10) to desktop (windows xp) i can't. so i also need guideline on this how to connect ubuntu 9.10 and windows xp with crossover cable.
