    Archive manager problem

I'm running Xubuntu and am trying to modify it to suit my needs exactly, so I've uninstalled File Roller and in it's place I installed PeaZip. I did this because I think PeaZip offers a lot more options and supports a lot mroe archive formats than File Roller and is thus a lot more functional. The problem now is that when I right-click on a file and select "Create archive" from the context menu I get an error message saying that the system can't find a suitable archive manager.
How do I fix this and make PeaZip the default program for all archive-related tasks?

P.S.: Please keep in mind that I'm still kind of a beginner when it comes to Linux - this "project" of making a personalized system is kind of a way to learn a bit more about how Linux works.

    Re: Archive manager problem

I suggest removing peazip, reinstalling file roller, and then installing xarchiver.

xarchiver integrates with any and all archive tools that are normally command line only (IE: 7zip, lzh, etc.) That is, if you install these command line programs first.
