Re: Mactel Support community created

Is this a newer version of your patched kernel that will replace the current generic kernel. I updated my kernel after a fresh install yesterday, then tried the wiki article and obviously the kernel patches didn't work because of backdating. Aside from starting over and not updating my kernel, how else can I a new kernel for my mac. Do you recommend a custom local build and applying patches to that? I suspect it would be best to use the mactel kernel that is coming because the group will be supporting it.

I have a macbook c2d santa rosa. Everything is working except the touchpad features and brightness, sound, etc. function keys. For wifi I'm using nsidwrapper. Graphics are good, Sound is there, have not tried isight or other video stuff.
