I have the same error, however i notice that the issue is not related to the USB type, because i tried on many of them and still the same, it is booting with some computers and getting "boot error"...

Well It didn't work for me, when i change the sound in PAVC for "test call" it changed on "test sound" as well.

Anyone knows alternative solution?
