    With your specs would look into Xubuntu 32bit version as a possible...

    Found SolydXK has a Xfce and KDE Debian semi-rolling based on testing a solid performer.
    Comes out with a monthly update pack where testing goes thru another round of testing for stability & bug...

    Yep your general system specs are no guarantees of smooth running.

    I installed yaWP plasmoid allows you have a popup with 1,3 or 5 day forecast with radar map! :-)
