any one know of a link to a install tutorial for installing awstats on Ubuntu 9.10

I haven't been able to find one yet, they all seem to be older systems

Its all a bit scary at first using linux, but after time it will get better and better

kiba-dock is pretty cool stuff, looks abit like this

# cd kiba-dock/kiba-dbus-plugins ( first line )

# sudo make uninstall ( 2nd line )

# cd .. ( 3rd line )

if you have installed OK, it will be under Applications,Accessories

if not type kiba-dock in the terminal to run it

I find that once you are a root user you shouldn't have a problem editing your crontab.

I dont know if this is right, but just undo or delete what you have done

or turn off iptables using the command

/etc/init.d/iptables stop

or /etc/init.d/firewall stop
