That last command didn't work, Joseph. It says:

b43-fwcutter was already installed. I installed firmware-b43-installer.

It doesn't look like these are blacklisted, unless I'm not understanding what it says. ...

By the way, I'm here for a while today. So I'll be able to reply to any other replies fairly quickly in-between other things I'm doing around the house today.

I'm not sure if you're suggesting a particular command for me to enter. Regardless, the switch isn't working in either position. I'm not sure if slid-to-the-right is ON or OFF. But...

I'm back briefly. Will check in later to see any insights. But that last command didn't produce anything other than another command prompt. Maybe I missed something...
