I did that, and it booted fine... but now NetworkManager cannot connect to any WIFI or Ethernet.

Does anyone have the same problem?

That's a very silly response... suspend is only buggy on ubuntu, works perfect on OSX and Windows 7.

Well I have removed gdm and installed xdm instead, which works for me, but it is still bugging me why it wasn't working on gdm!
