    In Rhythmbox, you can select each playlist and save as an m3u file. Put it on a flash stick, sd card, any external drive. When you do your fresh install, Rhythmbox can import your playlists.

    I use the desktop version on my eee. I didn't like UNR as the GUI was cartoony and the windows didn't seem to size correctly. I use the eee for everything and the Ubuntu desktop runs perfectly.
