i have never played this game before. i just downloaded it and tried it in an empty server and it seems well done. I'm looking foward to trying it out on sunday.

i just run it on a separate workspace and ctrl-alt-arrow back and forth

note that compiz must be disabled for the mouse to work in this game, afaik. If anyone knows a fix for this please post :D.

I also recommend running the DOS version of SC2000 in dosbox. that is what i do.

this should be the same problem. disable compiz by going to System - Preferences - Visual Effects, and set the option to "none".

ah i see now in your first post that you are using ati. try disabling compiz:
go to System - Preferences - Visual Effects, and set the option to "none".
that should fix it. composting is new to...

are you using an ati card?

I am having this same problem. it happens about 90% of the time i try to log in to orgrimmar and hall of legends. all my other characters can log in fine
