I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab (the version which also has a SIM and phone functions, from early last year, the P1000) and have Kang's modded OS running on it at the moment (ICS). I keep it in a...

    Hello,

I understand this is hardly covering new ground, but the answers I found on other fora about this seemed unable to solve the problem for my install and the only other threads I could find...

  5. Re: The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project

I'm sorry I can't provide you with a link to a digital article, Micro Mart sadly only publish in print for the time being. It's a newsagents-only affair unless you can figure out how to extract...

Take a look at issue 1116 of Micro Mart! www.micromart.co.uk
The first feature in this issue, no less, is The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project!
  7. Re: The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project

Meh, about as comfortable as any other. The keyboard's not as easy to use in all fairness, but you learn to get used to it.

[SOLVED] Re: Ubuntu and Epson Stylus (NX-415)

Attempted to use the source on a 64 bit 9.10 with an Epson Stylus SX415 - the make command ended up with this:

    gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I../../src/filter-l2/magick ...
  11. [ubuntu] Re: New Install - OpenOffice Fonts Missing

That's not the same Ostorah. I still can't find the one OOo 2.4 had, but I know it's neither ae_Ostorah nor Bassam Ostorah. I'm pretty sure OOo 2.4's was sans?
  12. [ubuntu] Re: New Install - OpenOffice Fonts Missing

I've had the same problem, but with a lack of the Ostorah font, which I chose to write my book partly because of the spacing between the characters and lines that it automatically gives me without...

Re: Lego Digital Designer in Wine

Would it be possible to find or create a Wine equivalent of quartz.dll that can be included in the main ppa? Or is this too difficult or beside the point or somesuch?

Re: Lego Digital Designer in Wine

Apparently it was included in 1.1.34, but that doesn't seem to solve LDD3. I think they only implemented a PrintWindow fix, rather than all fixes needed for LDD3?
  17. Re: The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project

Way ahead of you there. Both are on the to-do list.
  18. Re: The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project

I thought the forum automatically did that. I'm obviously used to more flexible forum software than this. If I had resized versions of them all to post, I would.

    EDIT: There, art thou happy?

Yes, those fenestrations built into the wall of the desktop case. Anyone who says I'm referring to a software product of the past is just silly.
  22. Re: The Colossal Lego Ubuntu Computer Case Project

Right, for the sake of clearing the matter up: the metal stuff with the holes, screws, nuts and bolts is MECCANO.
Coincidentally, the Babbage Difference Engine was already recreated in Lego:...

Re: Lego Digital Designer in Wine
