    Dell Inspiron 1545 n series, Broadcom chipset, I have had Ubuntu since 7, internal upgrade for each new distro upgrade.

    This jumped up out of nowhere for me, 11.04 was working fine since I put it...

    I am using UbuntuStudio, just upgraded to 9.10 and same thing.

    The only thing I have figured out so far is GNOME has sound. I have tried Enlightnment on its own, and Gnome E-16, tried KDE and KDE...
