    Ok, I did manage to get my HP Officejet 4215 and my HP PSC 1315 all-in-one both working in Ubuntu Dapper 6.06.

    I just did not understand how to set it up, I got help at the LQ forums

    I am really disapointed in Dapper, my HP 4200 series worked perfect in Breezy but I have almost given up trying to get it to work in Dapper.

    I have never used Automatix, to me, it doesn't get any easier than installing software using "Apt-Get" in a terminal or using the Synaptic Package Manager. There are good "How-To's" for these also.
