My issue was indeed due to some misconfiguration in plymouth. I fixed it by replacing plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text for plymouth-theme-lubuntu-logo (any other plymouth-theme-*-logo should work). Now I...
Has anyone got this working on 14.10 or 15.04?
I just updated a 14.04 machine where I had "hibernate with encrypted swap" running smoothly. With 14.10 and 15.04 the password prompt no longer...
Nice idea Paddy Landau. Working like a charm. I didn't know that the tmp directory was set through an environment variable.
Just a note for those using gdm: place the log out ~/.tmp cleaning code...
Thanks everyone for the feedback.
So it seems encrypting /tmp is only advantageous to keep it unreadable in case of a energy cut-off shutdown. And if no other user has access to the system.
EDIT: Please prefer Paddy Landau's approach which solves some problems of my approach.

Adding nobrl and noserverino to the mount options solves my problem though just partially. If I generate a dvi, i.e. running
latex foo.tex everything works fine. But if I try to...
The 32bits patch is working good here. Thanks a lot kirby, this is just what I was looking for (damn Nautilus developers ).

Hi,
Along the years I've customized my Ubuntu installation, removing many unused packages and substituting some for others I prefer.
In my desktop computer when I upgrade the distribution the...

Hi.
Karmic replaced readahead package by one called sreadahead.
Is it possible to profile the login sequence with this one?
Commands like sreadahead-watch and sreadahead-list don't exist.
Well I've done it.
Alien worked for the tsclient-2.0.2-3.fc11.i586.rpm file that fixes the problem. I've attached the generated .deb to this post. It works on my computer but use it at your own...
Worked here too. Many thanks!
Could you upload the deb package for the new version 2.0.2-3?
It fixes an important bug: Bug 485976 - tsclient reports "Host is a required field" despite a host name...
Thanks for the tip thtrgremlin. I had the same problem and running with:

Hi.
I've always used Twinkle to call using voipbuster through their sip server sip1.voipbuster.com It appears they changed this address to sip.voipbuster.com and know Twinkle can't register in any...
Hi.
I believe pidgin can't handle the sip protocol.
Try another application like Ekiga or Twinkle.
For voipbuster I recommend using Twinkle as it has G.711 sound protocol and gives you better...
Thank you dmizer! It seems to work.
There's only one strange thing. With your fix my account has read and write privileges over all files in the share (and it's confirmed it has). However I still...
Hi. The best solution is to remove your current version of electricsheep:

And then you can use this script and run

Thank a lot EReckase!! It just worked out of the package. I run the script and everything worked. (I was really amazed as I have to make some workaround to get any more exotic application to work).
