    I think I fixed it now, by using the command:


    sudo dpkg --force-all -r libncurses5-dev


    Atleast now I can use apt-get again, so I'm marking the thread as solved.

    In Windows, right-click on your start button and click run..Then write

    diskmgmt.msc

    There, you should see a partition which Windows doesn't recognize - That's the one you have/had ubuntu on.....

    If it is a CD, I would use the dd command:


    Turn a CD/DVD into an .iso
    sudo umount /dev/cdrom
    dd if=/dev/cdrom of=file.iso bs=1024
