    WoW! OK, I am not exactly sure what is happening...

    Maybe we might wanna give Nautilus or sudo fdisk -l a try.
    It might be a hardware issue, and I am not very familiar with hardware issues....

    Evolution is the first thing i remove after a fresh install. And it removes fine except the icon in the menu

    Try synaptic
    or
    sudo apt-get remove evolution evolution-common
