Hi there. I've been looking a long time for some good linux blogs and news sites. But I can't find any good ones. So far I got these: linuxtoday.com, unixmen.org. Can you help me out to find any...
Thanks, I'm just too used to ssh I forgot I was really working with remote cp. :)
I used vsftpd and tried to configure it, so it would be secure, but I got a lot errors. When I googled them there was nothing to find.
pscp.exe -p myport lion@TheIP:"Full_path_to_File"
Got this error:
More than one remote source not supported.
My SSH-server is running on port 6923.. :P
I tried the PSCP but it failed to connect to my server, and got a fatal error :S
How can I limit so i can only view my /opt/lampp/upload directory?
Is it possible to use this in a cmd?
I got PuTTY on my machine at work, and I'm tunneling my http with it.
But how on earth do I copy files?
I got a openssh server installed, but I dont know how to download and upload files from the windows client..
You know how?
I'm having a ubuntu server in my basement, I got a website etc, and I'm currently testing FTP, and I know it's insecure, so I want something secure. SFTP didn't just work..
I've installed the vsftpd server, and I can log in to the FTP with all my users: root, stian, test
But only root is allowed to write and delete from the server..
How can I fix this?
