I though the gma drivers didn't exist for Xorg 1.7, shipped with 10.04 ?

Did try to get the iegd drivers ? So far, I can't get my hands on it.
I heard someone manage to make moblin work on a GMA500.
There's still hope.

You may talk about easystroke.
The basic function is to trigger an action (keystroke, launch command, ...) when you draw a given pattern on the screen.

Touchscreen works just fine, once the xserver-xorg-input-evtouch is installed.
The only reason to keep Windows, is that you "want" it :D

This one is good.

The problems encountered are either :
* little ones (hibernate issue)
* not depending on ubuntu (psb driver issue)

I think the sound problem can be easily corrected.

I've dropped the idea of getting Moblin working, for now.
Following the previous how-to, i've installed Karmic NR. It works great but :

Thinking about it, compiz and Mutter may use the same functions (3D accel), but they are different softwares.

I check in "system->pref->appearances". It is written "compiz is not installed".
