You sure the log is around the time of a crash? Doesn't seem to have anything significant in there?
Have you monitored your memory usage over a week? Is there perhaps a memory leak?
Try adding the DNS servers manually in Network manager. These may be specific to your operator or try public DNS servers like Googles: 188.8.131.52, 184.108.40.206

Figured out the problem. Turns out I had downloaded the file to a directory that was on a FAT32 partition.
The src/libcgo/386.S file was renamed to 386.s for some reason!

Yes I can browse normally, and wget works fine, its just apt that doesn't work on all sites.
When I do an apt-get update I get:
