    J. Post the query in General Help and I think that you'll get a better response.

    Updating Drupal

I installed Drupal 6 last night at Localhost and all is working. Drupal wants to upgrade to 6.12 but I haven't a clue how to go about. I followed what I thought were the instructions on Upgrade.txt...

    [ubuntu] Re: Getting the Final

I love Jaunty; it looks like it's going to outshine the other releases that I've tried (every issue from Feisty onwards). I'll certainly be sticking with it.

    [ubuntu] Getting the Final

I installed the Beta and it's hardly like a Beta at all. My feeling is that JJ will be a landmark Ubutu release.

Will I have to re-install when the final comes out?

Doing an upgrade is out of...

[ubuntu] Re: cant put iso on CD

I find that burning an ISO is best done with the Nautilus burner at the lowest possible speed which is 1 x. Doesn't take that long and it's always worked for me.

Oh, I see that you're one of the developers. Well, this means that I can congratulate you in person.

    Ibex is a fine Distribution.

    Great work, William.

[ubuntu] Re: Unable to unmount private

I used force quit, purged it in terminal, then sudo unmount...and deleted the folder with sudo nautilus.

Don't install it...it's as buggy as hell...use true crypt instead.

    [ubuntu] Unable to unmount private

Can't unmount the Private volume in Ibex. I get an error message saying:/home/user/Private is not in the fstab and you are not root.

    Worst bug I've come across.

    How do I unmount it?

  19. [ubuntu] Re: General information needed about burning Audio CD

    Thanks Van.

    Would flac work?

  21. [ubuntu] General information needed about burning Audio CD

  25. Poll: Re: When Ibex comes out, are you going to upgrade or do a clean install?

Upgrades have been problematic for me in the past; I'll either stick with Hardy or do a clean install.

BTW what about 8.04.2? It's due for release at Christmas. If I stick with Hardy, will the...
