    Yes I had Ubuntu in wubi just a few hours ago. But have uninstalled it. Yes I have Vbox and have tested solaris and many others in it.

    Yes and to save changes is not so easy. Slackware linux variants seems to be able to using unionfs save files but Debian seems to do things in a different ways them not using unionfs files at all??? ...

    To do it on a USB external HDD or USB flash mem stick seems to work on many iso but not all. They could search for things and not find it so one have to add things...
