    Thank you for this! My "Add a Printer" button was greyed out in Ubuntu 11.10 even though CUPS was installed. Using http://localhost:631/ allowed me to easily add my printer.

    Thank you for posting this! Followed your directions and the install went flawless. I just used my CAC to log into NMCI email using Firefox on Ubuntu Jaunty. NKO works as well and now I'm off...
