I got counted twice because linux-k7 contains LRM and thus making it non-free. Its kinda important to me because I'm part of the FSF now...
Ahem, shouldn't this belong in the Community Chat Forum?
Okay, most of us know one of the awesome things about GNU/Linux is that it is all free, free as in beer. But what about those pesky licenses? 99% of the stuff with Ubuntu is under a GPL-compatible...
I just searched quickly with apt-cache and the only thing I found was qcad. Sounds like what you are looking for ;D
I think its the game's way of telling you to enjoy the awesome soundtrack that JA has ;P
They can have FAT! I'll be here cuddling with ext3 and ReiserFS :D
I for one welcome it. It makes me not have to answer the....uh...how do I put this...questions like "How do I install programs". Too many questions like that in one day when I'm stressed out triggers...
Dapper contains the bleeding edge as we sync from Sid. But watchout, Dapper is still development so things will break on you
Oh to answer the question of Firefox. Ubuntu depends on Firefox a lot...
I'm really glad that the Resolution Center was opened. I hate all the fighting. Now if you could unban me from #ubuntuforums, I need to talk with bored2k about some anime ;P
JDong this happened 24 hours ago. You know that a ban of excess of 24 hours is excessive in any situation. Did I act out of line by detonating? Yes. Do I still hold my stance? Yes. But yanno what?...

Backports went official, most of UbuntuGuide was used as a basis for the StarterGuide now shipping with Breezy, and the issue about Automatix was more to do...
People are confused already. Plus I think that some new users will think that "Gnubuntu" will mean Ubuntu + GNOME (Hold off I know that GNOME is default already).
And yah, doesn't Ubuntu already...
So many info resources...so confusing....*goes to stick with Wiki*
Sorry Boss :D
What doc facility? Oh that one...I thought it was being merged with wiki.ubuntu.com?
This fragmentation thing has me very worried....All the *buntu's are the same thing with different default configurations. I mean you install with the server install and with one command you can turn...
Yanno what they say. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :D
Its very old news. (Ubuntu was first btw)
Caaaaan yoooooouuuu feeeeeeelll the Ubuuuunnnnnttuuuu Loooovveeee tooooniiighhht?
Sorry seeing all the intro threads made me sing that :D
Reminds me of Jeff Waugh's comment at Ubuntu Below Zero on the first time they saw the word "Ubuntu"
"How many U's is that?"
Welcome to the family. Its the kind of family that you have no clue how you got into it but you are damn glad we are here :D
I usually pull an SSH connection to my box when I have to use a Windows machine. People look over at me and marval at my commandline skills!
