    The bios has nothing to do with the drivers. The problem we where having with the drivers was using the Chrome OS kernel.

    Okay, so I installed the OEM BIOS. WOW! It is awesome. ATM I am installing Linux Mint to it! Really cool, USB booting and all. Just take your time and such when opening your precious CR-48.

    OOOO! NICE!! Hmmm, I meant buying a bigger SSD for the CR-48 and then installing. Check the tear down guides for the CR-48. I am not to sure if I recall seeing a ram slot though.

    Those images work by functioning like the recovery stick. So everything is erased then reinstalled, I believe that you have to redo everything all over again, but when you install the kernal and such...

    I Specify in the guide where to get those files, they are in the exact place you linked.

    If you guys make a Recovery Stick, any problems that arise during the install process can be wiped away. It literally takes 5 min to restore and return where you left off.

    The CR-48 has 16gb on an internal SSD. This is a dual booting method. The install should have about 6gb free space, and thats plenty for a small linux box.

    One more thing, make sure you use the USB stick method of delivering the rootfs.bin. Just mount the USB stick on the CR-48, then do the dd flash command. It takes a long while, maybe a good 10 - 15...

    Yeah, its pretty straight forward, it took me a loooong time to figure it out since I have to relearn my linux commands and such, but I did it. I am thinking of having another distro on there though....
