I went from an e280,which got stolen,to a Fuze.They were both great and no problems with Linux.

I would at least hold on to them.You never know...you might run across someone with say a water damaged or dropped one that doesn't work and scavenge the battery.

Have you tried with effects enabled?

Just an example in my case...QuakeLive performs way better if I leave compositing enabled.

I was going to throw the hybrid type option out there but that would have opened a whole other can of worms that I don't have the required theming knowledge to offer help with ;)

Which theme is that?

I'll install it and have a look.

Check through the theme's gtkrc file and look for a color entry which matches that color.

I had the same problem...even sudo wouldn't let me.

This worked however...

echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
