Solved the issue - changed "localhost" in my virtual domains conf files for postfix to 127.0.0.1 as it is in my conf file for mysql and now it works.

I am setting up postfix+dovecot+mysql+postfixadmin.... so far so good.
But i cannot retrieve mail from my adress as i get this errors in my logfile:

I think the best thing is, that you go into the folder /home/username/.nautilus/ and delete all the files as also in the subfolder /metafiles/ and then try to open a folder.

After upgradeing to Hardy my Nautilus is doing very slow whet strating up. For example, i get a mail with an attachement and try to save the attachement the programm freezes for 10 sec. and then...
The same happens in my case. Running Hardy and the latest Yakuake version (KDE4) on Gnome. Is there a fix?

Try aigly7glx + beryl/compiz for the zooming thing. About looking like a mac - www.kde-look.org or www.gnome-look.org. There are some themes available that make your desktop just the same as a mac...

First make shure you have the nvidia-legacy drivers and the legacy kernel modules.
