I have the same problem. I think it happend after I uninstalled OpenOffice.org from repo and installed new 3.2 from .deb.

Is there any fix to make shut-down dialog screen come back? It gets on my nerves that I have to type a command in the terminal each time I want to shut-down or restart my Ubuntu... :(

I got it working with no problems... but it's sooo much slower than my compiz-vanilla aiglx... :(

I have the same problem. Only the first ntfs partition is visible now, even only one desktop shortcut is left :(. To access the second ntfs partition I have to browse to /media/hda5/...
