Believe it or not, it's Oxygen. You can adjust the gradient level in the color settings, and you can adjust the scrollbar width and tab appearance in the Style settings.
EDIT: Also, the colors...
Another one. This time, KDE using mostly what's already available in Kubuntu.

KDE4, Oxygen with a few settings tweaked, custom color...
XFCE4, Avant Window Navigator, Holo GTK and XFWM4 themes, Faenza icons, Roboto font.

Happy coincidence, actually. I've kept my dock on the left-hand side ever since OS X 10.2, and just really can't work any other way anymore.
But hey, they said they wanted Unity screenshots,...

Relatively stock KDE4, with most of this coming from KDE-Artwork. You can get these straight from the control panels iirc.
Oxygen widget...
I hate to pop in two years later, but that's not entirely true. First, Cedega and Crossover are two separate products; on both, they not only provide their own DX drivers, but also usually have...
You might want to invest in Crossover Office and a license for the Windows version of Photoshop, then.
I saw that one of the devs in that bug report had a power management PPA. I added that, did a safe-upgrade, rebooted, and viola.
But really? This thread was started in October 2010, it's nearly...
If you use the wine-1.3 package from the Wine PPA, the version of Kindle for PC on the Amazon website runs just fine.
:guitar:
I figured it had to be something simple; it ran just fine for me...
Netbook screenshot.
XFCE, Gonxical GTK theme, Wasp icon theme, Haiku-ish Smooth window theme. I also use Devilspie to automagically maximize application windows.
Huh? It's still pre-release.
Fairly standard GNOME desktop running GNOME Shell. Looking forward to GNOME 3.
Amen. The battery on my Aspire One has its battery life cut in half if I'm surfing the web, and that's due largely to Flash. If I have Flash enabled on the thing, the fans kick on after a couple of...
I have a netbook and am running Ubuntu on it. Aside from having an unsupported card reader, and having it occasionally "wig out" and hibernate when I put it under a load while on battery, it does...
At the risk of angering the older wiser geek...
What you present here is an argument from authority followed by anecdotal evidence. I've no doubt you had problems with ext4 on your hardware, but...
OK, I'm going to be harsh about this.
How about, instead of starting with being a drama queen, start with memtest? That'd be far more constructive.
I mean, it sounds like a hardware issue to...
I have no answer but would love to see the answer to this. I have the same problem.
I've tried it, and I guess I'll be the contrarian and say I love it so far! I have to admit, though, that some habits are hard to unlearn; I've had a taskbar ever since Windows 95 came out, and...
And if it's already there?
I have a setup where I'm doing one of the recommended Unison setups, where I'm treating a folder more like it's a repository (without versioning.) To do that I have the...
I'm not currently running Ubuntu as my main machine, but rather Arch (long story), and I also got networked printing working. I edited printers.conf to replace the printer IP with the broadcast...
It was indeed. It works much better than I'd been expecting!
Thank you for posting this. :D I'd tried building it myself, and though I consider myself to be fairly computer-savvy, I didn't...
The current firmware (out well before you made that comment) supports Ogg Vorbis and FLAC. Sadly, it does not support ReplayGain tags in Ogg Vorbis; not sure about FLAC, because, erm, well, I'm not...
Same here, and it's annoying. iirc I had the resolution pop up way too low, and made the mistake of changing 'em in the GNOME Monitor Resolution Settings box. Now, even though I've edited xorg.conf...
I know it's been a year, but you may need to set the dinput and dinput8 dlls to be builtin rather than native. iirc if you use winetricks to install DirectX, it sets these to be native.
