This thread is not that old - surely someone has it working with recent software?
rbpitch Readme.txt says it needs gstreamer-plugins-bad with 'pitch' enabled. Can't find anything on 'enabling'...
I'm in the same boat. Ubuntu 10.04, can't build rbpitch due to "rhythmbox not found in specified Vala API directories..."
