I filed bug 119248, since I just did another fresh install and can confirm that at least on the AMD64 version after the installation feisty-updates is not enabled
I noticed that the "feisty-updates" repository is not enabled by default in my installation of 7.04. This is a clean install of AMD64 Feisty.
