Is the first one just an ISO image?
All I want to do is encrypt one folder. I tried using an encrypted zip, but you can still see the files inside, and you can't access the files inside from an external application.
Hello.
In Mac OS X, you can create a sparse image, which is a disk image that's the size of its contents, instead of its capacity.

How can I do...
I emailed the developer, but haven't gotten any response.
Nobody knows if I can do this?
Is there any way I can drag files into Tilda like you can do with the regular terminal?
I know that I can copy and paste, but it's a bit of a hassle.
Ah, a fellow Digger, I presume?
Well the last one means that you, personally have rwx access to the contents of your home directory, while others have no access.
I believe the second to last one...
Try doing "killall -s 3 firefox"
I hate to do this, but

Since the sysrq key commands are part of the kernel, would that mean one would have to change the source code to use them on a computer without a sysrq key?

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet, and continue to boot with grub1.
Thanks for all you did to help.
Tell me if you get anything to work.
32 bit grub1 can load a 64 bit os. i don't see why 32 bit grub2 can't do it.
Allright.
I was looking at the thing it kept repeating when it was trying to load linux with the 32 bit grub2

What do I type after ./configure to get x86_64-apple?
Is it --target=x86_64-apple?
I don't really know much about compiling besides configure and make.
I'd be very interested in this. I have the same macbook as you, so I'd like to know what options you use.
It shows up in the apple boot menu every time, I never had any problems with that.
It only shows up in rEFIt when grub in in /efi/grub/
I have the same number of modules as the package you provided.
Let me move grub into /EFI instead of /EFI/grub to see if that makes a difference
Then I'll boot into linux, and run dmesg.
yes, it's...
Last night, I had been thinking about it, and realized it might be because I'm using the 64-bit version of Linux.
I just recompiled grub because of this, and now I have the exact same problem I...
boot into recovery mode and run
Xorg -configure
I think you can do this in the failsafe terminal too.
This will give you an xorg.conf file for your machine.
It saves it somewhere in the...
I'm sorry, I had been told it was a Santa Rosa. My mistake.
I looked it up, and the T7400 processor is not a Santa Rosa one.
