    well.. I have the same hardware and my wireless options are all greyed out.
    the wifi 'works' but no connection.

    I have dual boot with Win7, in win7, I can connect to my network.. in Ubuntu 12.10,...

    I have the exact SAME issue on a Dell e6400 and Dell e4300.
    It just started happening in November but was working perfectly in Oct..

    Yes, I just tested that with Firefox and it's the same thing there.
    Just a black blob.
    It's just streetview though. I can see the maps if I'm not at Streetview level.

    Bizzare.

    For some reason in Google Chrome, I can't see the streetview image.
    Not even sure where to start looking on this issue.

    Also tested in Firefox and the same thing.
