    • HDD is near empty (<10Gb)
    • I just installed Windows 7 on a separate SSD

    Sorry for the late reply. No, they are very different. Both are AMD though, but different type CPU. One MB is ATX, one is ITX and runs purely on SSD, that the one that has the problem.

    Installed 14.04 (as only system, purely SSD run)

    Then:
    VirtualBox

    Inside the VirtualBox I installed Win XP (just to get to a few websites that require Windows only)...
