Yeah I'm gonna switch when dota2 is native also few friends of mine since the only game we're playing is dota2/dota for 6-7years already.
What kind of dual-core you don't want ur processor to bottleneck the 7770, my personal advice is to switch from ATI to Nvidia because of Linux drivers.
They say it's going to be something differend new never seen before, time will show :)

What the hell are you talking about, x86, 64-bit have noting to do with GAMING, you'll get equally same FPS on 64bit and x86, GAMES use CPU like 20% for ex. reading files from the HDD, everything...
First of all it's very important what are you going to do with your Linux installation, if it's for everyday usage, like browsing, facebook, youtube, email and gaming then go for x86 version.
