[ubuntu] Re: Help me make my webcam working

Nope, I found it through trial and error, using the 2^n sequence of numbers. I'm just happy I can do hangouts and video chat on Google+. I haven't tested Skype yet, but I think it will work for that...

    http://oi55.tinypic.com/2rfzme9.jpg

How would I go about realigning the preview to fit the icon, or, if that's not possible, how would I disable the preview for plaintext files?

    I have poked...
  6. [ubuntu] Re: Connecting a second monitor causes graphical issues

I was not satisfied with that workaround, though I suppose it is useful. As I said earlier, connecting an additional monitor did not cause this error in previous versions of Ubuntu.

[ubuntu] Re: Can't delete partition - it's mounted.

That liveCD will work. If you cancel the installation after you delete the partitions, it should leave your hard drive blank.

[ubuntu] Re: Can't delete partition - it's mounted.

You're currently using the hard drive to run Ubuntu, so you can't delete the partitions from within it. If you have a live CD, boot it from there and delete the partitions.
