    [ubuntu] Re: NVIDIA-CURRENT driver activated but not in use???

    Have you tried using bumblebee? I hope it will help.

    https://github.com/MrMEEE/bumblebee

    Apparently there is a problem with latest nvidia cards with optimus support and linux.

    [ubuntu] Re: NVIDIA-CURRENT driver activated but not in use???

    [ubuntu] Re: Slow Samba performance on Ubuntu 10.10

    Do you think this issue matured enough to consider it as a bug and register it in launchpad?

    [ubuntu] Re: Slow Samba performance on Ubuntu 10.10

    In fact below syntax is invalid (run testparm).

    SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
    socket options = TCP_NODELAY
    Therefore it seems that in my case was enough.

    socket options = TCP_NODELAY

    [ubuntu] Re: Slow Samba performance on Ubuntu 10.10

    Try writing it in one line, ie.

    socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192

    [ubuntu] Re: Slow Samba performance on Ubuntu 10.10

    Uncommenting those two lines in /etc/samba/smb.conf solved issue for me.

    SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
    socket options = TCP_NODELAY

    Hard to tell.
    But with such specific question I would try to find an answer on mozilla/thunderbird forum.

  12. Re: [How-To] Get lightning working with Thunderbird 3.0

    Great news;)

    I haven't got any major issues with previous version of Lighting add-on, but having stable version feels much much better.
  13. Re: [How-To] Get lightning working with Thunderbird 3.0

    It all depends on a way you configure your Lightning.

    When you attach new google calendar, you can insert private url(get it from google calendar site) pointing to your calendar.
  14. Re: [How-To] Get lightning working with Thunderbird 3.0

    Have you tried installing components from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozi...ux-i686/en-US/ ?

    Re: Thunderbird 3 - How to re-index?

    Try to delete GLODA file, which should force TB3 to reindex all messages at restart.

    Just remeber to backup your data in case something would go wrong.
  16. Re: [How-To] Get lightning working with Thunderbird 3.0

    Indeed... twiece I have tried to install non-localize gdata-provider.xpi, but each time the extension has been shown as disabled and below it a information about something missing has been displayed.
  17. Re: [How-To] Get lightning working with Thunderbird 3.0

    Instruction you gave helped me a lot. Thanks!

    However I was not able to start Google Provider right away. For some strange reason first I needed to install xpi file for Google Provider Extension...

  21. [ubuntu] Re: Firefox crash ONLY when clicking fullscreen youtube
